I really can’t remember the last time I shot a shotgun. I’m not sure I want to remember, either.
Long guns, in general, are not my thing. But that doesn’t mean I’m not willing to learn about them.
As it turns out, I’m getting my chance.
After the editor of Lucky Gunner asked me if I wanted to contribute to a series of articles on shotguns, I complained to my friend, John Johnston, of Ballistic Radio and the two conspired against me to get me behind the stock of a shotgun so that I might be able to opine on the matter.
On Saturday, the 12th of September, my little butt is going to be in Searsboro, IA, getting my learn on. I think, all told, we’ll have something along five different shotguns there.
I may or may not enjoy this.
